About this collection

The May Show, known initially as the Annual Exhibition of Work by Cleveland Artists and Craftsmen, later as the Annual Exhibition of Work by Artists and Craftsmen of the Western Reserve, and finally as simply The May Show, was a juried exhibition of Northeast Ohio artists held annually at the Cleveland Museum of Art from 1919 to 1993.  Posters were distributed throughout the Western Reserve to advertise the exhibit.
